《類工廠》是2012年至2013年間完成的版畫創作，命名中嘗試模糊工廠原先的定義，描繪一系列相似於工廠的建築空間。闊別六年，重新詮釋《類工廠》，呈現2014年後，我轉身投入藝術空間《十八巷五號》的經營，對藝術上的關注亦轉向空間中的人、物、以及其功能。這次展覽，我邀請黑手父親一同參展，展示他畢生引以為傲的心血。並試圖發問：作為一名藝術家，會從父親身上繼承什麼？兩者身份中：黑手與藝術家，父與子，彼此之間又有哪些共通點？

Quasi-Factory was my series of lithography prints made in between 2012 and 2013. The title itself reveals my attempt of reversing the definition of ‘factory’, where it shows some quasi-factory spaces. Right after that series, I devoted myself into a real space. Running art space No.5, Lane 18 was an experiment for me to take care of those who are ‘inside’ the space, such as people, things, and the functions. Six years later, I decide to come back to the series Quasi-Factory, and this time, I also invite my father, who has been working as a mechanic for all his life. In the exhibition, he’s proud to show his own works. My intention was to question what I actually inherit from my father as an artist? What is the link between two identities and two individuals, mechanic vs artist, father vs son?
